Safety is designed into Voryn Connect, not added on. Every business is verified before it goes live, every trip is tracked by GPS, every payment is protected, and a real support team stands behind every experience.
Every business is verified first
Before any store, restaurant, driver or service provider can appear in the app, they submit business registration documents and government ID to our team. We review every application by hand, and unverified businesses simply cannot reach customers on Voryn Connect.
Live GPS on every trip
Rides and deliveries show real-time location from pickup to drop-off. You see your driver's name, photo, vehicle and rating before they arrive, and a pickup code confirms you are getting into the right car.
Protected payments & wallet
Your Voryn Wallet is guarded by your credentials and an optional PIN, and every balance change is recorded in a ledger you can see. We never store full card numbers, and our staff will never ask for your password or PIN.
Real support, real records
Every order, ride and booking keeps a full history: timestamps, GPS points and payment records. When you report a problem, our team reviews the evidence and resolves it fairly. Refunds go back to your wallet.
How we protect your account
- Sign-in uses one-time codes sent to your phone, and repeated failed attempts are blocked automatically.
- Passwords are stored only as secure hashes. Nobody at Voryn Connect can read your password.
- Sensitive wallet actions can require your PIN, and money movements follow verified, auditable processes that support staff cannot bypass.
- We will never call, text or email you asking for your password, PIN or a sign-in code. If anyone does, it is a scam: report it to info@vorynconnect.com.
Staying safe on rides & deliveries
- Check the driver's name, photo and vehicle in the app before getting in, and use your pickup code.
- Follow your trip on the live map and keep your phone charged.
- Wear your seat belt, and never ask a driver to speed or break road rules.
- For deliveries, meet your courier in a well-lit spot and check your order before they leave when you can.
- Use in-app chat to talk with your driver or courier so your contact details stay private.
Staying safe with home & auto services
- Book only through the app so your booking, payment and provider details are all on record.
- Have an adult present for in-home services, and keep valuables put away.
- Agree any extra work and cost in writing through the app before the provider continues.
- Rate your experience afterwards. Ratings are real and help keep quality high for everyone.
Our community guidelines
Voryn Connect works because customers, partners, drivers and couriers treat each other with respect. We have zero tolerance for:
- violence, threats, harassment or discrimination of any kind;
- fraud, including false orders, false damage claims and payment abuse;
- unwanted contact with a driver, courier or customer after a trip or delivery ends;
- driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
- using the platform for anything illegal.
Breaking these rules can lead to warnings, suspension or permanent removal from the platform, and where the law is broken we cooperate with the authorities.
In an emergency, call for help first
If you are ever in immediate danger, contact the Jamaican emergency services before anything else. Then report the incident to us so we can act on it.
